The Honorable George W. Bush

President of the United States

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of the Government of Free Vietnam and the March Against Terror (MAT) I would like to congratulate you with utmost sincerity and tremendous joy on your important victory as the re-elected President of the United States of America.

Today, 80 million Vietnamese in Vietnam and millions more abroad have witness the greatness of America and the hearts of Americans.  We have fully beheld the glory of freedom and the prevailing strength of justice.  For over 30 years, the Vietnamese people have wandered across the world as refugees, divided and uncertain.  Today we are one again.  Our people, our country have seen enough pain, and have witnessed enough suffering under the suppression of communist.  In this moment of unity and victory, we have found hope and a future for our country.  We believe with your guidance and leadership, the world will find courage and strength to overcome tyranny and oppression.

We and the Vietnamese people pray for your health and strength, and may God look after you and your family.  God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

Sincerely,

Chanh H. Nguyen
